Tata Sons Ltd is the parent company of the Tata Group, a $100+ Bn conglomerate that operates across multiple business sectors and has a global presence, employing more than 675,000 employees of over 110 nationalities.

In his current role, Amit looks after multiple areas that include Performance, Rewards and Benefits, Employer Branding and Diversity & Inclusion. In addition, he provides Strategic HR Support to new Companies within the Group and all joint ventures and oversees the generalist HR function for Tata Sons, Tata Services, Tata Industries and all their subsidiary companies. Prior to his current portfolio, he has also looked after Young talent leadership programs such as TAS, HR Governance and Employee Engagement at Group Human Resources.

Amit has worked across the world in a variety of HR Roles and projects. He has lived in Singapore, United Sates of America and India. In his previous assignments, Amit has worked with Companies such as the Aditya Birla Group and Mercer Human Resource Consulting. He has had exposure to all areas in the HR function.

Amit has a Bachelors Degree in Statistics and Operations Research from University of Mumbai and has completed his MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
