Lipika is currently the Director – Rewards for India and Pacific and is in the top HR leadership team for Schneider Electric. In her role, she provides leadership to a community of Rewards and operations professionals across multiple units. She is responsible for engaging with leadership teams across countries to align on Rewards philosophy, performance culture and organizational policies. Her focus areas would be driving compensation strategies for Schneider Electric across various verticals and BU in these countries including manufacturing and R&D. She is responsible for Schneider Electric businesses, monitoring industry trends and developing and implementing Rewards processes.

Along with her Rewards responsibilities, Lipika is leading an extremely important global strategic objective of “Wellbeing” for Schneider Electric India. Over the last four years, extensive work has happened in this area. She is part of the global leadership team of wellbeing.

Prior to this, she was working as Vice President-Compensation & Benefits for GE Capital. In her role, she was responsible for driving the Compensation philosophy across GE Capital through various initiatives along with other C&B interventions like evaluating and designing variable pay practices for GE India, in conjunction with global team.

Prior to joining GE, she was Head-Compensation & Benefits for Nokia India. She has led various talent management initiatives for Nokia globally apart from looking after India C&B portfolio. She was instrumental in setting up the global shared service Centre for Nokia in India. Prior to a C&B role, she was leading Human Resources for its corporate office and North region as an HR Generalist and had done HR business partnering for Nokia’s top leaders.

Prior to Nokia, she was associated with ESPN Star Sports, Nortel Networks and Hughes.

Lipika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics & Masters in Human Resources.

On the personal side, her husband heads HR for a multinational company. She has two boys, one who is a teenager and another one in Class 3.
